HAZOP FOR PAO "YATEC" COMPLEX ASSOCIATED GAS TREATING STATION

Hazard and operability study (HAZOP) for complex associated gas treating station that has been commissioned by the Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev early July has been conducted by GazSurf specialists.

July 6 the Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev during his visit to Yakutsk took part in the commissioning of complex associated gas treating facility at Srednevilyuiskoye (Mid-Vilyuiskoye) gas condensate production field — YaTEC chief production asset.
After YaTEC press service: “new facility will both improve the quality of the consumer gas for the central part of Yakutiya, as well as maximize the valuable end-products extraction out of the associated gas”.

Design flow of the complex gas treating facility is up to 4 billion scm of gas a year.
The facility will operate at extreme ambient conditions down to minus 55 deg Celsius (minus 67 Fahrenheit). Its purpose is for treating the associated gas by extracting unstable gas condensate with the following propane-butane production. Propane-butane is an ecologically advanced motor fuel.
